So you want to know a bit about me.  Well this is a brief summary of my life so far - probably the nearest I'll come to writing an autobiography! I was born on the 23rd September 1967 in Sunderland, a town in the North East of England

For most of my childhood my family lived in Yarm, an old market town.  Yarm is now a vibrant centre for nightlife with some of the best pubs and restaurants in the North east.

After graduating from Downing College Cambridge in 1990 with an MEng in Manufacturing Engineering I moved to Reading to start work. My first job was with an American management consultancy that specialised in quantitative marketing analysis.  Since then I have worked exclusively in the area of analytical marketing.  From 1990 to 1997 I lived in London and the South East of England.

On the 19th July 1997 I married Stephanie.  We had known each other for many years, having grown up in the same church.
